Meet
Your Meat by PETA
This video takes you through each stage of life for animals on factory farms
from birth to slaughter. Includes footage of chickens, pigs, cows, and
veal calves. Now with new footage and narrated by Alec Baldwin.
- Peaceable
Kingdom by Tribe of Heart
From the incredibly talented filmmakers of "The
Witness," this deeply moving film explores the plight of farmed
animals through the story of Gene and Lorri Bauston of Farm Sanctuary.
Heartbreaking actual footage from factory farms, stockyards, and
slaughterhouses is masterfully interwoven and juxtaposed with beautiful
scenes from the sanctuary, as well as with rescue missions and intensely
personal interviews with people who experienced first hand -- and
ultimately rejected -- the painful realities of farm life.

Eye-opening book exposing all the dangers of eating meat.
Written by a former cattle rancher who turned vegan.
- Raising Vegetarian Children
by Jo Stepaniak and Vesanto Melina.
Great book answering just about every question you could have
about raising children on a vegetarian/vegan diet. It not only talks
about the health issues, but also about the emotional issues related
to being raised on a diet different from that of most people around
you.
